University Admissions Process

The admission process doesn’t have to be complicated and time consuming. Meritus University prides itself on being an open Enrolment institution serving the demand of adult learners actively engaged in Canadian business and industry. We strive to make this experience as pain free as possible.

Open Enrolment assures prospective students will be evaluated for admission, from an academic perspective, based upon limited criteria such as completion of high school for undergraduate programs and baccalaureate degree for graduate degree enrolment, or the international equivalents thereof. Please note that additional admissions criteria such as English proficiency and residency do apply.

Prospective students applying for admission to the University’s undergraduate or graduate degree programs begin the admission process by submitting a complete and accurate application, along with the application fee. Once the application and fee have been received by the University, applicants are responsible for ensuring the completion of their admission file. The University, through the Graduation Team, will advise students regarding the documents required in order to complete the official admission and matriculation of the student record. No applicant will be formally accepted for admission until that applicant’s admission file is complete and formal written notice is provided by the Office of Admission and Records.

We take student information seriously by keeping all materials safe, secure and in confidentiality. You can be assured that your information will be treated with the outmost professionalism by our staff members.
