Dr. Prakash Naidu is a professor of business and technology at Meritus University.
Dr. Naidu received his PhD degree in engineering with specialization in robotics/design for automation from University of Toronto in 1997. His earlier qualifications include M.Tech. in Engineering and a post graduate diploma in business administration. He has worked in or has been affiliated with leading institutions, laboratories, and industry in Canada, the U.S. and abroad in different capacities including senior systems design engineer, senior research scientist, project director, group head, project Llader, partner, adviser, and consultant. He has earned several awards and honors including Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship, and also Design and Technology Commercialization successes, and achievements including patents, and peer reviewed publications. He is a Member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, licensed Member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario (P.Eng.), and Affiliate Member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC).
Dr. Naidu hopes to contribute to the learning of his students at Meritus by sharing his experiences in critical thinking, research and management during the online classes.
Dr. Naidu lives with his wife and three children at Ottawa, Canada’s national capital.
